Gullible is the word that best describes online consumers. The internet is a medium by which individuals, like you, research on the latest products and services. Unfortunately the internet is so flooded with information, both true and false, that individuals end up getting confused.
The human brain is such that it does get attracted to negative information especially information that is sensational in nature, like scams, affairs etc. Therefore while researching, scams tend to trend more and hence appear in the search options before the truth has a chance.
iYogi has had to deal with this on a day-to-day basis. iYogi scams are fueled by various elements ranging from competitors, haters or just random individuals who just didn’t have anything else to do. Yes we are Indian and no iYogi is not a scam; and yes we are a hundred percent genuine.
iYogi scam is a concoction of sorts; it is another way of downgrading reputation so that a competitor or third party may gain from it. In the marketing world such an act is known as ambush marketing. It is an authentic method of marketing which is not so popular in other forms of marketing. Since the online world has no such parameters or rules set, ambush marketing has taken over the reins of driving a company to the ground.
Most individuals have read such iYogi scams and have had the courtesy to call us and question our credibility. Once satisfied they try our service and by the end of the day they join the privileged club of a happy iYogi customer. These iYogi scams try to play the role of barriers and try very hard to divert genuine consumers, who are looking for state of the art computer support, towards other products which don’t match up to iYogi tech support at any level.
Most individuals believe that actual genuine testimonies are made by the companies and iYogi scam articles or comments are genuine. But that’s where they end up falling into a vicious circle. At the end of the day they don’t get the tech support they require and hence fall prey to the various anti social elements prevalent online.
Let’s take an example; in the beginning we all thought that buying products or services online was a big no-no. We had to have that satisfaction of seeing or feeling the product or service before purchasing it. How times have changed! Today most individuals buy products or services online just because it is convenient. Based on that convenience iYogi developed a simple yet effective method of resolving customer’s computer related queries.
The whole iYogi scam is just a repercussion of success. iYogi is a victim of its own success. Many old and upcoming competitors feel the threat of being outdated or outmatched and hence in a desperate last minute effort resort to such means of creating an element known as iYogi scam.
So how do you decipher between genuine information and iYogi scam related information? To be honest if we knew the answer to that we would have informed you of it a long time ago. There is really no way to decipher such information. The best way is by reading testimonials of our customers, also available online, and then deciding if we are worthwhile.
Another way is to read through the iYogi scam article and chances are that nine out of ten would conclude with “try our product as it is a hundred percent authentic” or “… so don’t go for this product instead try ours we won’t let you down” or; the best one we’ve come across till date “… our product is not a scam, there product is. How hard is it to make a choice now? Click here to download our product”.
These scam artists try to project iYogi scam and in turn glorify their own product in one way or another. As mentioned earlier it’s a promotional stunt nothing more.
Try and get in touch with any of these scam artists posting iYogi scam articles? And you would definitely not be able to. Why? Because the articles posted are posted by individuals who create aliases. Therefore if you ever do want to get in touch with these guys it’s impossible because they don’t exist. These articles or comments are ways to get individuals confused and iYogi try’s its level best to ensure you make the right decision by keeping its testimonials, user reviews etc extremely transparent. So whenever you want, from wherever you are you may log on to http://www.iyogi.net/ and go through the testimonials and reviews.
So before you go in-depth into details of the so called iYogi scam we suggest you call us to know more or go through our website. Once you are satisfied with our authenticity, just come on in and enjoy the world of hassle free computing.

I am a customer with iyogi since seven months. But lately I didn’t get the kind of support they used to provide. I tried to reach iyogi through complaints form. I elaborated everything there and got a positive response.

I got one such call about three weeks ago. The guy on the other side of the phone fed me some line about being from iYogi. He told me that there was malware in my computer and asked me to permit him to fix it. I was a bit suspicious. I asked him to verify my computer model and he tripped. I went on asking questions and he was not able to answer even one of them. I got the idea that he wasn't from iYogi. I hung my phone call and told him not to call back ever again. It’s just that some fraudsters are trying to wire easy money by defaming companies who have hard earned their reputation by doing good work.

Scams are up in the air. The more technology advanced we are becoming, the more tricks are being devised to fool us. Scammers have not even left genuine support companies from making their soft targets. And I think iYogi is one such… I have used their services; they do not fool you for money. Even the technicians don’t ask for your credit card details or other bank credentials. I have used them twice, but have never felt that they are scamming me.

I had a bad day with my HP laptop and I had real issues while opening most of the web pages through the internet. Every time I tried to open a web page, I used to get some strange error messages. To solve the issue, I took help from iYogi technicians. They informed me that my computer was affected with a malware infection that is not allowing me to properly operate my internet. The technician ran various diagnostics to detect the malware and remove it from my system. I got 100% support from them. I vouch for iYogi services. The company is not a scam.

Of late I am spending huge amount of time in paperwork to put all my tax and investment papers in order. That day an e-mail in my inbox has got me thinking. It looked as if sent by an IRS and suggested me to visit a w-2 form. It also inquired my name, address, social security. Thank god I follow iYogi scam alerts from time to time wherein I read about online tax scams.

My inbox is flooded with ‘Get iPad for free’ offers. Are all of them fake? I was thinking of trying one of them. Gosh! Guys you saved me. I was not aware that these offers could be fake. I get these offers on my FB page also. iYogi you saved me. I found your article very informative. I’ll surely tell this to all my friends…

Roy you are right buddy, I am also facing the same problem daily. Everday when i open my mail account, i found that spam mails are more in number than important mails. Most of these spam mails are from scammers trying different methods to lure me in their trap. I totally agree with you that awareness is the only thing that can keep us protected from these evil-minded people. iyogi scam alert is doing a great job in informing us about the latest scams. Well done guys!

My dad got scammed last year… he paid over $200 to remove virus infection that never existed. He got numerous calls from some tech support representative informing him about this bad virus infection. Later when he tried to contact the rep on his number, the number seemed to be disconnected… he had to get his bank account details changed. Guys stay well protected from these scammers…

I have always worked with brands. And when I heard of iYogi, I was a bit skeptical in dealing with them. But my friend insisted that I must try it once, as it is a good remote tech providing company. On his insistence, I called them to get my PC’s blue screen issue fixed. I am so impressed with the kind of support I received from them. The technician completely resolved the problem in less than 20 minutes, something that I thought would take quite long. He was very helpful and friendly and answered all my questions promptly. Though his accent was different but his helpful nature kept me hooked on…

After being helped in numerous technical issues in the past 2 years, I can never believe that iYogi could be behind any kind of scam. The company is genuine and always takes care of its customers well. My belief about iYogi has always gone stronger every time I have called them. The technicians have never tried to fool me or waste my time. Though they are quite pushy when it comes to sale, but my overall experience has been absolutely great…

As people are getting aware of the various types of online scams making round on the Internet, they are getting smarter. Similarly scammers too are devising new and new methods to lure their victims. Now they have started making their offers more colorful and vibrant. Their only objective to lure common people. So, in my opinion whenever you come across any e-mail that promises you easy money without any second thought think of it as a new method of scammers to dupe you. And yes, thanks a lot to iYogi scam alerts for keeping us up-to-date with information on latest scams.

This is a very informative article on online scams. Thanks for the post and the initiative you took to alert us of these evil schemes of online con artists. Even I have also come across such lucrative iPad offers. I am looking forward to more information on Internet scams and iYogi scam alerts.

My inboxes are replete with lottery prizes, free iPod and iPad, free surveys, job offers and ten different types of scam baits. But, I always refrain myself from these seemingly attractive offers and free money. After all, nobody offers a free lunch these days! Hence, iYogi scam artists will never get to me. Besides I learnt from my neighborhood friend Sam, who uses iYogi remote as well as on-site support, that the company make cold calls, though a bit pushy at times in selling some antivirus.

In this bad economy, ‘free’ is something that always lures us. We tend to fall for all those offers that give us something for free. Scam artists try to take advantage of this and con us by offering us lucrative offers. In our ignorance we tend to fall for them and ultimately get conned. Iyogi scam alerts do a great job by making us aware of such false promises.

Scam artists are on the prowl over the Internet. I really do take caution in opening such alluring e-mails that offer free iPad and the like. One day, an office colleague came running to me as she came across one such mail giving good bargain on iPad 3. But as I know and have been using iYogi services for a year now, I warned my colleague about the evil scheme of scam star hidden in that lucrative offer. Gosh, that was close shave!

I completely agree with you jose that it is not the scammers that are to be blamed. It's the people who are to be blamed who are easily lured by these scammers. Don't these people have a little bit of common sense that no one is going to transfer millions of dollars in your account merely on giving them your personal details. People should think not only twice but many times whenever any such offer comes in their inbox.

Akingboye I too get such an e-mail in my inbox one day. For one moment I was very happy that I will be getting an iPad for free. But when I saw carefully the sender's e-mail id, I became a bit suspicious. It was a very strange looking email id not appearing as if it has come from some authentic source. And then the iyogi scam alert confirmed my suspicion with the information about the latest scams that are making rounds over the Internet. Thanks iyogi for helping me.

My way of looking at things is different. I don’t blame scammers. I blame people who get scammed. It’s our mistake that we trust everyone and fall for their super lucrative offers. I also get mails that notify me of winning lottery or inheriting a million dollar property of someone who is not even remotely associated with me. I don’t trust these mails and I don’t show sympathy to people who fall for these mails.

I got a call from some tech company. I think the caller was from India. His accent had that indian touch. He asked me to click on the ‘run’ box in the Start menu and enter commands dictated by him. He told me that my computer is infected and these commands will help him detect the virus. I told him that I'm using Norton and it does not show any signs of infection. But he still insisted. Since I was not sure of his identity, I just hung up the phone… After reading iYogi scam alert, I think he was a scammer. Thank God I did not follow his instructions.

Helped me fix my smartphone… I had trouble installing a security software on my smartphone… got iyogi’s number from a friend… the technician resolved the issue and installed the software properly… he also installed AVG on my laptop… their price was great, but understanding their technical lingo was difficult. i think I’ll be using them for both my home and my office.

Sorry for your friend Terrance. But what you’ve said is 100% true… scams and frauds are so common these days that every day we all must be coming across one or the other… the only way to protect our online identity is by checking everything before trusting it. Every information is available on the internet, but it’s our ignorance that dupe us…

Get iPad for free - the latest scam that is going around… my friend got fooled… even after spending so much time, he did not get the ipad… I don’t know about iyogi scam, but this one is for sure a scam… I feel so sad for people who get trapped in these scams… since I never feel convinced by these offers, I never trust them…

Even though my last experience with iYogi was not excellent, but I don’t think iyogi is a scam… They have resolved many of my issues… But last time the technician messed up the issue. Then a new technician was assigned who fixed my router properly. I was annoyed because it took lot of time. But still they don’t scam people. They have helped me, my friends, my friends’ friends and many more…

I’ve never used iyogi, so can’t say much about iyogi scam. However, my friend recently got scammed. A person called her pretending to be an iyogi techie. He convinced her to buy a subscription. But when she actually called up iyogi, they said that she does not have an account with them. She lost her money. But if a company is spreading awareness, I’m sure they’ll not be the one running the scam. I feel the only way to protection is by getting facts right and cross-checking each and every detail before trusting anyone.

IYogi scam - is so unreal, I always let iyogi guys take control of my computer and fix all issue. It’s been years and we have been benefitted mutually from each other. Off lately I started receiving calls from sources who claimed to be iyOGi this is so annoying. I know iyogi for years and looking at how they work and everything, these scammers use Google and western union, and want to charge me for non existing issues; I have started collecting information on these guys so that I can build the case. IYOGI certainly is a victim of its own success. Hope things go back to normal and users like me are benefited for their support without any adulteration.

I called iYogi to repair my printer but the technician messed it up. However, he did not cheat me by charging me more or ripping me off my money. Instead, he transferred the call to another technician who successfully resolved my issue. I felt in safe hands.
